I gave this plan a 5-star review based on the proposed/potential coverage and cost. I did not need to file a claim on the plan, so I cannot speak to whether or not the plan met expectations nor the service of the company for filing a claim. For cost and coverage, the plan provided what I needed to have covered for a reasonable price.

I felt comfortable having this policy in place before taking such a long and distance trip. We travelled with family, and they had a potential physical problem (knee pain) that made us consider delaying or cancelling the trip. We did take the trip, but it felt good to know we had some coverage in case we had chosen to cancel.
I would certainly use Insure my Trip and WorldTrips Atlas Journey Preferred for a future trip.

The good news is that my claim was paid in full. However, it took over 60 days for the process to complete. I had to make 5 phone calls and found out that one of my emails to them requesting additional information sat in one of their email folders for 30 days with no action. Overall communication was not great but happy that the claim was paid as requested

C&F Travel Insured InternationalWorldwide Trip Protector Plus
Unfortunately, in May 2022, while in Greece, I caught Covid and had to remain an extra week, isolated in my hotel room. The tour operator paid for all hotel and meal costs, but I had some incidental costs, including the Covid tests, and I lost two full days at the end of the tour. C&F was backlogged, and I did not receive payment for five months, but they paid all of the extra expenses. They were also good about communicating about delays. Being on Social Security, this is an excellent policy because of its medical coverage, as many others only offer secondary coverage. I highly recommend them.

We received the full refund to which we were entitled, but it took five months to get it! The cruise was for October, we canceled in August and sent in claims, had to resend information again, and didn’t get our funds transferred into our account until January. Had to call several times to see what the delays were.
