Airlines lost my wife’s luggage. Tried calling your service on a Saturday evening, after being on hold for 30 minutes, your service picked up, and then transferred me to another department. After being on hold for another 10 minutes, the medical assistance group picked up. So, I was transferred to a wrong group after 40 minutes on hold, and then was told that the baggage claim people don’t work until Monday. I gave up at that point. Our luggage did come in on Sunday, so I wouldn’t have needed a monetary compensation.

Thankfully didn't need to use - but I felt comforted that they had additional beefed up coverage for hurricane events. Helped me sleep a little more at night instead of worrying about 'what ifs'!

Never bought travel insurance before, but we were headed to the Caribbean near hurricane season, so I figured it was a good idea. When our trip approached, I reviewed the policy and noticed I had entered our departure date incorrectly when I purchased it. I called RoamRight, they corrected the problem quickly and at no cost to me. I had a new policy in my email inbox within a couple hours. Surprisingly good customer service for a service I was unfamiliar with and unsure of.

This was my first time purchasing cruise insurance. I'm very glad I did. Hurricane Maria decided to change our plans. Filing the claim was easy. Everyone I spoke with over the phone was helpful and courteous. My claim was processed fast and efficiently. Don't think I'll ever travel again without purchasing insurance.

I tried to use the insurance to help get money and not a credit for my flight back from Turks and Caicos since we canceled our trip due to the Hurricane since our resort is closed until next month and I could not use the insurance due to it being purchased after the hurricane was announced. I was not aware when I purchased the insurance that we could not use it for this reason. I would have never wasted almost $100 purchasing the insurance. Since the resort themselves closed and this was out of our control I thought the insurance would cover this but I did not research close enough I guess before getting the insurance. When I called she was very polite and explained the reason behind it.

In order to find hurricane specific coverage, you must purchase the policy prior to when a storm is named. Once a storm has been named it is considered a foreseen event.
