Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
I have purchased travel insurance many times over the years, this is the first time I have had to file a claim. Arch Roam Right was very easy to use, quick to respond to I was reimbursed very quickly. I would definitely use the again.

Insured every trip we have taken out of country, and a couple in the U.S. travels. Never had to use it, but great peace of mind. Guess I'll have a better review if we ever need to use it. But stuff happens, fortunately not to use. I'll keep using various plans through Insure My Trip company.

The plan was easy to purchase and a good value. Fortunately, we didn’t have any claims to file, so we can’t speak to that side of it. Will purchase again for our next trip!

I opted to get this plan because my traveling companion's mother is older and we just can't predict the future. If something had happened, I had the peace of mind to know (or think I know) that our trip was insured and we wouldn't lose the money paid for the trip. Since I didn't actually have to use the insurance, I can't say whether the coverage was good ...it appears to be and my parents have had to use it in the past and they were happy with the coverage. So, that's good enough for me ...if you knew my mom and their travel companions :) !

Thank you for your comments since it also allows us the opportunity to advise your fellow travelers that they should review the definition of Traveling Companion before purchasing a policy. Your Travelex Travel Basic plan provides this definition:
“ 'Family Member' means the Insured’s, or Traveling Companion’s
• spouse, civil union partner or Domestic Partner,
• Child,
• siblings,
• parents,
• grandparent, step-grandparent, grandchild, or step-grandchild,
• step-child, step-sibling, or step-parent,
• step-aunt or step-uncle,
• parent-in-law,
• daughter-in-law or son-in-law,
• brother-in-law or sister-in-law,
• aunt or uncle,
• niece or nephew,
• legal guardian,
• Caregiver,
• foster Child, ward or legal ward;
• spouse, civil union partner, or Domestic Partner of any of the above.
• Family Member also includes these relations to the Insured’s or Traveling Companion’s, spouse, civil union partner or Domestic Partner."
Please note that not all Comprehensive plans provide a definition that includes the family member of your traveling companion, so if you ever need assistance in the future, our team of licensed representatives are always happy to help. You can call us at 800-487-4722 with any questions regarding the policies, to obtain a quote, or even to purchase a policy over the phone.
my bags were delayed 6 hours. I had a 12 hour plan. Not sure if the price difference would be worth it to get a lesser hour delay plan. thankfully didn't need to use the plan but peace of mind knowing we have it just in case
