We purchased to have peace of mind because we were going in the beginning of hurricane season. We had wonderful week, no hurricanes in sight and didn't have to exercise the policy. This the third time I have used InsureMyTrip.com to find a provider and luckily have never had to exercise the policies, however having this insurance provides me peace of mind and I can just enjoy my trip. My father-in-law died 2 days before our trip.We where able to rebook our flight a day later than planed.The cost was almost twice what our original flight but booked anyway knowing we where insured.when we got back we turned a claim into CSA.They payed our claim promptly!I highly recommend them! I will use them every time we travel.

In these hard times I didn't want to invest in this insurance, but it did allow us to travel worry free!! Like all insurance, you do not need it until you have an event and without the coverage your on your own. This was a wise investment and would obtain coverage again when we travel.

I bought this inexpensive plan ($56 for 2 persons) for our cruise trip for peace of mind. I did not have to file any claims, because we had a perfect vacation. However, I remember meeting a American man at hotel in Germany several years ago - he was in a very bad and expensive situation after his wife fell off the moving sidewalk at the airport. She was in traction in the hospital and could not travel on the plane home.

I use this plan twice a year and have never had to file a claim. However, There was a hurricane in the St Martin area but I was relaxed because we had TruTravel. Also, we were held up in line at customs last week and only made our flight by 5 min. I was not stressed as I knew we had travel guard to cover a flight home and a hotel for the night. Just like your AMEX.... don't leave home without it!!!

Took almost 2 months to get all my claim. Don't know how much fault lies with Spirit Airlines waiting for a response about why flight was delayed.But pleased to get all my claim! Proved me wrong. Also no hassles wonderful!
