Have used Travel Guard for many European trips; always compare with other companies and keep coming back to Travel Guard on the basis of coverage vs. cost, especially coverage for emergency evacuation. Knock on wood, have never had to file a claim, so can't comment on quality and timeliness of response to a claim.

It also has helpful links that help explain what each plan covers so you can choose the plan that best fits your needs. The year before when I purchased a plan we got some emails telling us about coverage, how to file a claim including contact numbers and other useful stuff. After this plan was purchased, we didn't hear anything after the premium was collected.

This confirmation includes the purchase details, contact information, and schedule of benefits. We bought the AIG Travel Guard Gold because we were told it was the only one that would cover a relation in hospice. My mother, being 100 years old, was in hospice care due to her age and weakening, not a specific disease. So we bought this insurance which was more expensive a few times before she died.
We did not have to make a claim so I can't really comment on whether I was satisfied with the plan. That is where the rubber meets the road and the only test of a plan that really counts.
