We had a 4-hour weather delay in Copenhagen for a flight to Bergen Norway. We were concerned that the flight might be canceled forcing us to remain in Copenhagen over night. Having the insurance as a backstop helped allay our concerns.

I've used Travel Guard before ... they handle claims very efficiently and I wouldn't consider anything else ... experience with Allianz was absolutely horrific and took many months ... Travel Guard previously settled a claim in 16 days from filing the claim to receiving the check!

I was especially happy with the insurance because I didn't have to use it! I fractured my knee a couple of months before my cycling trip & it was iffy whether I would be ready for a cycling trip. I did call and report the problem & found your staff person to be sympathetic & encouraging since I hoped to make the trip. As it turned out, i healed well & was able to prepare for the trip.

Plan was very comprehensive when traveling to 6 countries in Europe. Due to each country's differences, medical, baggage, and travel delay were critical in comparison to just trip cancellation.

I've used Travel Guard for many years to cover my travels and have always been satisfied with both coverage and price. I recently checked into their insurance for an upcoming trip & was disappointed to see that they will no longer cover me for a trip to Italy. I have no idea why. Hopefully that will change.
