Trip was cancelled due to hurricane Irma. All expenditures were reimbursed by airlines, car rental, etc. No need to process a claim.

The cost was expensive but only because we did not have to use the insurance. Too bad there isn't a % refund if the insurance isn't used - as a reward for good health and safe travels.

Fortunately I never had the occasion to use the policy. My mind was at ease the entire time that I was away on my vacation just knowing that should an event arise I had coverage! This is especially true when traveling through Europe, and the UK.

On our annual vacation in Ireland, missed connection, Jetblue 2 hours late, to Boston. Unexpected night in Sheraton Four Points.Logan Airport. Jetblue argued we'd been notified of such prospects, giving no alternatives and declined responsibility. With some substantiation, hotel and booking receipts by email, representative confirms AIG will cover the 'unplanned expense'.
I am comforted that, with age the need to buy insurance, will be covered when needed.

Overall, the pricing was very fair. Although I didn't have to use the coverage, I felt that if we had been delayed during our trip or lost luggage or had an accident of some sort that we would be covered. I will use them again.
