Did not realize that all aspects of trip even if they were refundable by the provider, had to be insured in order for the pre-existing conditions waiver to be in effect.

It gave me peace of mind to have this insurance, as I opted for Cancel For Any Reason. If we felt unsafe due to terrorism, we could have canceled our trip.

Being as I never needed to use the coverage, it is hard for me to rate this policy. I do think it was more worthwhile (and less expensive) to buy one policy that covered both our airline tickets and our cruise using InsureMyTrip instead of purchasing two separate policies from the airline and cruise line.

All customer service representatives were great whenever I called with questions both prior and after I purchased the plan. However, my printer was not working and I repeatedly had to call to ask for a copy to be mailed to me. Several representatives said they would mail it and I never received it. The last time I called, I told the representative that it was my last request. It was only then that I received the policy.

1) The policy is purchased within 21 days after making the initial deposit/payment for your trip; and
2) You insure 100% of the cost of all travel arrangements that are subject to cancellation penalties or restrictions by the travel supplier; and
3) You or the individual with the Pre-Existing Condition are medically fit to travel when the policy is purchased; and
4) The booking for the trip is the first and only booking for the travel period and destination.
