My wife had medical problems and required hospitalization as well as a medical return flight. Dealing with AXA to get moved to a different hospitalization and then to get a medical flight home was a nightmare. They said we just need the attending physician to confirm that she is stable enough to fly but not strong enough to go on a commercial flight. That was done an then seven days later they were able to arrange a flight. The company that flew us home said that when they were finally contacted it took twenty minutes to put the pieces together, not seven days.
It almost appears that they were just waiting and hoping that the patient would either die or become too weak to fly on a medical flight.
In addition, they do not seem to have people capable of speaking foreign languages. They should not be in business.

AXA Assistance USA is a very good company offering different levels of insurance at very fair prices. Most travel agencies charge much more for the same coverage. We have used AXA for our last 3 trips abroad. Highly recommend this company.

This plan allowed me the flexibility to cover the time during the tour, the four extra days when I was on my own at the end of the tour plus the airplane travel that I purchased separately. The customer service personnel were very helpful in answering my initial questions about the coverages while shopping for insurance.
