I did not have to file a claim with C&F but did have a claim against the airline. My bag arrived totally open with missing items. Zipper handles where missing along with my TSA lock. The airline is reimbursing me for everything. This happened at the beginning of my three week trip to various
locations so the airline did not have much option. Paperwork a bit of hassle thought. I would still buy C&F Ins. just in case there was a hassle and did not get back in full from Airline.

I purchased the Travel Insured Worldwide Trip Protector Plus insurance in January for our November 2015 Aruba trip. A few days later I had to cancel our airline tickets and file a claim. My claim was paid shortly thereafter. Buying this insurance was the best thing I did and I'm glad I did it.

I bought this policy in case of death/illness so i was happy with the cost. We almost got stranded by a snowstorm so next time i would consider getting a policy with better trip interruption coverage.

I really cannot comment on how well the insurance works, because, fortunately, we have never had to use it. But I always buy from InsureMyTrip, because I have the chance to compare policies on my screen and always have the chance to speak with a "real" person who offers perspective and can help me make a decision.
