Although we didn't file a claim, we made a couple changes prior to leaving on our 20 day trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos. The changes were handled easily, promptly, and documented shortly after. We would use Generali again when the need for TI arises.

Since the trip went according to plan, there really isn't much to say about the overall quality of service from the provider. We're quite satisfied with the ability to compare and choose a plan.

We didn't have to file a claim so I'm not sure how it would have worked out. But the company agents were very helpful and knowledgable.

Didn't use the plan so no opinion on how well it works. Have always found the cost of CSA's plans very reasonable compared with others available.

fortunately I didn't need to make a claim of any kind; but I found the process of selecting and deciding on a plan very easy, thanks to the helpful reps.....since i didn't use it I've no idea how it would have functioned had I needed the coverage, but it was worth the cash for the peace of mind.

Coverage was adequate for our trip. We did not have to file a claim. It was priced reasonably for coverage given.

While I felt I was getting the best coverage for my needs, the cost was much higher than on previous trips I've taken because I had turned 70. Since I am in perfect health and have been active in yoga, swimming, walking, dancing and other activities and I do realize insurance carriers must have categories for coverage according to risk, I do wish one wasn't penalized by being in a certain age bracket.

The true test is the response from the company should a policy holder file a claim. We did not need to, so the true test was not applied. However, the customer service was excellent--both at the time of researching/shopping/purchasing, as well as the contact the company made with us right before we left on our trip to refresh our memory on the plan. We changed the start date and end date with only a few days notice because the trip "moved" a bit as it got closer. Everyone we spoke with was exceedingly helpful.

I did not need to make a claim, so I can't rate the customer service. The cost of the plan was good in comparison to a few others I liked at and it covered my needs

Thank you for your comments which are always appreciated.

Although it is true that your plan was certainly not one of the least expensive plans offered to you, the CSA Travel Protection Custom Luxe was one of only two plans that offered coverage for Pre-existing Medical Conditions. Most Comprehensive plans would have provided the Pre-existing Condition Waiver only if you purchased the plan within 10 to 30 days of your Initial Trip Payment. Unfortunately you were more than one month after that first payment when you called. Keep in mind too that you also purchased a plan that was rich in benefit limits since it included $250,000 in Medical (secondary) and $1,000,000 in Emergency Medical Evacuation coverage per person.

Our recommendation is to call us at 800-487-4722 within 10 days of your first payment for the most competitive pricing.
