Had to file a claim. It took them over a week to get started, they only stated action when I followed up. Three times they emailed me different questions as they did not read the forms and scanned copies of all my receipts I sent them in the initial PDF. 1st attempt - They only read the first page of the pdf, did not scroll down so they asked for more receipts. I resent the papers for a second time. 2nd attempt - They asked for another receipt which I already sent, so I broke down the PDF and resent each receipt individually, effectively re-sending a third time. 3rd attempt - Finally, they asked the date for certain receipts, if they read the receipts I provided the date is clearly stated on them. I had to write the dates in an email as they where not capable of reading this from the receipt. If they read my paperwork correctly the first time I submitted, they would have settled it much faster. The lack of the company reading what I sent was frustrating, but the price was reasonable for basic insurance. Note to self never send one PDF to this company again, only send several jpg files. Due to the low price and the fact the claim was settled I gave it a recommendation.

Unfortunately, we had to use the plan as our trip needed to be canceled. The folks at CSA were understanding, efficient and competent. The response time was remarkable and I will use them for our next trip.

I bought the travel protection because I'm older, the unrecoverable expenses were more than I was willing to "lose" if I couldn't make the trip, and I have experience with delays causing extra expenses. The plan I purchased appeared to cover what I needed covered at a cost I was willing to "lose" if I didn't need it. And I didn't need it so I have no idea how things would have gone if I had needed to make a claim.
