The policy was well reviewed online by many others, it seemed robust and reliable. Felt comfortable having it. For short trips, I do not usually bother with travel insurance, but this trip was to Asia for two weeks, so we felt we needed it.

Although I did not need to use the insurance, thank goodness, when I compared the CSA Custom Luxe plan to other options, I found this option the one that best covered my needs. This is the second time I've used CSA to insure a trip and I'd use them again.

I arrived home safely with essentially no problems. I did not get ill. All flights were on time and all connections made. Baggage was not lost. Since I did not file a claim, I have no way of judging the value of the coverage. However, I believe that a small gift, for which I paid $27, was taken from my luggage while it was in baggage-handling. This is really too small to deal with all the paperwork.
