The coverage was explained well, the price was reasonable and the previous reviews led me to purchase this policy as a single trip plan. It was good to know our trip would not be a total financial loss in case the trip had to be cancelled due to a covered reason. The policy purchase confirmation arrived immediately in my email and it was easy to apply and pay for.

I did not have to use any of the features of the plan but it was very easy to apply for, compare to other plans and understand. The confirmation email arrived immediately so that I could take it on the trip with me.

Thankfully, I didn't have to use the coverage I'd purchased for this trip but I consistently purchase travel insurance through InsureMyTrip and almost always end up with a CSA plan because of the great coverage and low premium. Longer delay periods on baggage delay, for example, and loss of luggage, terrorism coverage, and just a solid set of coverages.

Fortunately I Didn't need to use the coverage but I would still highly recommend this insurer. I went to Italy last year and was held back a couple of days due to a ATC strike. CSA reimbursed me for all related cost no questions asked except for required documentation.

I really think you should use total HOURS not days for the insurance. I left on a Red Eye but pay for the whole day. I also find that for a 72 hour trip the rates are too high.
