I actually asked to cancel my plan, not because of any fault of theirs, but because I didn't realize my hosts had purchased a plan for me when they bought my ticket. I was past the 10 day cancellation time by another 10 days. And they generously cancelled my insurance. Yes, totally, insure with them, they are real people!

Had a small medical claim which was handled promptly and paid in full once we submitted all the required info, some of which seemed unnecessary. But we were happy with the outcome.

Having the insurance gave us greater comfort during our travel and mitigated the rental company requirement for auto insurance. Although we had no reason for claims, having the insurance provided some peace of mind.

I was reassured by knowing I was protected. When my flight had to return to the airport an hour and a half after departure, the knowledge that I had CSA Travel Protection behind me was very comforting. Fortunately, everything worked out okay and I didn't have to file a claim. The peace of mind was worth the cost of the policy.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. InsureMyTrip does not offer a stand alone trip cancellation/ interruption policy. The only way to secure trip cancellation coverage is to purchase a comprehensive policy. Comprehensive plans will offer a variety of benefits, covering a wide range of concerns: luggage, delays, and emergency medical benefits.Dec 09,2014

I didn't need to make a claim but was still glad to have the coverage at a reasonable price. I appreciated the occasional emails the company sent just to keep in touch and let me know they were there if needed.
