Good to know the protection is there when in a foreign country. Didn't need to use it, but that's always the best way with insurance.

This offered me peace of mind for a trip that was fairly expensive.

It is hard to say how satisfied I am with the plan since I didn't have to file a claim. I thought the price and coverage looked good compared to other plans, and I liked how a copy of the coverage and emergency numbers was emailed to me a few days before we left for our trip.

The trip included a

My trip was long and had a big adventure travel portion so it was expensive. Getting insurance was highly recommended. I had a lot of in country travel as well. There was a lot that could go wrong. This was the first time I have decided to purchase insurance. I shopped on line and liked this one.
Two weeks before my trip I hurniated a disk in my back and got a cortisone shot. Everyone thought I was going to have to change or cancel. I was really glad i would be covered if needed. I ended up going, I fainted on the plane, but nothing cost money. There were plenty of additional hitches like losing my ATM card, but in the end, I never needed to place a claim. The policy was well worth the peace of mind it provided.

This plan provided everything I was looking for and more to my self-planned trip to Thailand for my wife and I. Price seemed reasonable for coverage provided.

I didn't file a claim, but based on reviews of those that did I would have been comfortable using this insurance if I needed.
