the key thing that made me purchase was the amount of coverage on medical as well as for emergency medical evacuation. much for $ coverage for such a little cost difference. the other plans i considered were very weak in $ protection for around the same price structure.

We almost had to cancel our cruise at the last minute due to a health related issue. I called and spoke to the folks at Global Alert as to coverage for this event. They were very helpful and answered all of our questions. It made our very stressful time much less so by knowing that we had coverage just in case.
