Good to know I had it, glad I didn't have to use it!! There were 2 medical emergencies on and 1 death on our cruise.. None of the people involved had trip insurance.. I have never and will never take a trip without trip insurance. We love Insuremytrip.com!

We learned a lesson 7 years ago in Australia-always get primary medical if you are on Medicare. InsureMyTrip has always been soooo help in recommending the policy with the coverage we need.

The plan provided peace of mind; however, we were fortunate in that our trip went smoothly and we did not have to use the insurance. So I don’t have an opinion on how well the insurance would have worked if we needed to file a claim.

We did not use the plan, we were not able to take the trip. While we were refunded 100% of our trip cost from the travel provider, we could not transfer our insurance policy to another vacation. The policy was exactly what we wanted in a travel policy though, just hate that it can't be moved while you're still months away from your trip. Next time we will wait closer to our trip to purchase the policy.

This was the 2nd time we purchased this same insurance and have recently purchased it again for cruise in Nov this year. We did file a claim on this times insurance for travel delay. Hurricane Dorian delayed our cruise for 4 days and changed from a 7 day to 3 day cruise. I was waiting to review until our claim was settled. I received word today it was settled for full amount claimed in a reasonable time. We only filed for our stay in a condo and a hotel for 4 nights and 1 meal(did not keep receipts for other food and grocery shopping. I am very satisfied with the way the claim was handled. Will purchase again. Only complaint I have is the price went up from our 2018 purchase due to they dont cover children for free anymore but still think the insurance is a good deal.

One star on Satisfied as I did not have to use the coverage, so no comment on claims. It did provide peace of mind being half way around the world in a remote location. I did compare with Medjet (limited to evacuation) and other policies and it "ticked all the boxes" for trip cancellation and interruption, lost luggage, medical & evacuation. Five stars on ease of purchase and communications via email.

We did not go on our trip - recovered all but $100. So plan was not used - unless we can recover cost of plan?

Your policy does include a "TEN-DAY LOOK: If You are not satisfied for any reason, You may cancel insurance under this Policy by giving the Company or the agent written notice within the first to occur of the following: (a) ten (10) days from the Effective Date of Your Insurance; or (b) Your Scheduled Departure Date. If You do this, the Company will refund Your premium paid provided no Insured has filed a claim under this Policy."

    Unfortunately you purchased this policy back on October 10, 2018 so you do not qualify for the 10 Day Refund.
