Also included are baggage loss and delay, travel delay, and emergency medical evacuation benefits.

The iTravelInsured travel protection plans are underwritten by United States Fire Insurance Company and SiriusPoint America Insurance Company, and the Patriot travel medical plans are underwritten by SiriusPoint Specialty Insurance Corporation.

I bought the IMG iTravelInsured SE plan for this trip because a couple of our cruise ports were in foreign countries, and I'd recently seen a friend get injured in one. We're in our 60's and thought insurance was a good idea, particularly for emergency medical transport overseas, which I heard was expensive. The cruise was a big celebration for my sister-in-law's retirement; we were really looking forward to it. To my surprise my husband's back started bothering him a few months before the cruise. He worked with PT, a chiropractor & his Dr to no avail. Three weeks out he collapsed in pain and was scheduled for urgent surgery, we weren't going anywhere. I contacted IMG and they immediately emailed a claim form. A real human being was available for my questions. It took about 4 weeks for them to review and process our claim. No fuss or drama. This was a big relief, as we were already miserable about missing the cruise and letting down family. Bottom line, I highly recommend IMG's travel insurance and will use them again.

I am a reasonably intelligent human being. I was under the very distinct impression that while I was in London, if I became sick that I could see one of your providers. It was the main reason I purchased the plan. I became ill. I was wrong about this plan. I was required to find my own doctor and pay any doctor or hospital bills myself. Then later, make a claim for reimbursement.
