International Medical Group (IMG) has been a dedicated provider of international medical insurance and travel insurance for over 20 years. They understand the varied ways people can travel internationally – whether for business or pleasure.
Founded in 1990, International Medical Group, Inc., headquartered in Indiana, is a worldwide leader in designing, distributing, and administering global healthcare benefits. They provide insurance to customers in over 170 different countries. They have prepared plans that reach the needs of these variations of travel to protect their travelers the best way possible.
They have insured millions of travelers since their conception, combining their insurance products with an impeccable service record to bring Global Peace of Mind®. Their travelers have 24-hour access to IMG services no matter the part of the world they currently inhabit.
IMG offers single-trip travel medical plans for both U.S. citizens traveling abroad and Non-U.S. citizens that are traveling to the U.S. These plans can help to fill in the coverage gaps that your primary health plan may leave while you are traveling abroad.
IMG offers comprehensive plans for U.S. residents as well, which are branded as iTravelInsured. Comprehensive plans offer medical coverage for emergency medical situations, and include many trip protection benefits as well. These benefits include trip cancellation and trip interruption, which are coverages used to insure your prepaid, non-refundable trip cost. Also included are baggage loss and delay, travel delay, and emergency medical evacuation.
IMG also offers two visa plans, which are designed to fulfill the requirements for obtaining a visa to visit a Schengen country. These plans are generally for non-U.S. citizens who are residing in the U.S. and traveling to a Schengen country. One of the visa plans is also a comprehensive plan, which allows the customer to insure the cost of their trip.
The medical plans are underwritten by Sirius International Insurance Company and the comprehensive plans are underwritten by United States Fire Insurance Company.
