I had the unfortunate loss during our covered trip, and upon return, filed a claim. It took 3+ months for reimbursement of funds, including 4 phone calls requesting some sort of answers for the lengthy delays. Ultimately, the claim funds were reimburse to me, however, only after a delay. This was after I submitted all the necessary paperwork, i.e. receipts, medical records, medical release of information, etc., so the delay was not on my (the customers) end. Good coverage for my families needs, but slow to reimburse the covered loss expense.

Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Although we completed our trip in April, I have waited to complete my review because I had a claim pending. I wanted to see what the results would be. I am happy to report that my claim for reimbursement for one missed day of our trip was compensated for very fairly. My husband and I received checks last week. The reporting process was not easy and took quite a bit of time, and then more information was requested. I would suggest that travelers maintain good files and keep everything in the event of needing to file a claim. I spoke to representatives on the phone who were very helpful and pleasant. I will use insuremytrip.com for all future trips.

Fortunately, we did not need to file a claim. While deciding which plan to purchase, and following the purchase of this plan , I had several questions regarding it. Each representative , with whom I spoke, was very efficient, knowledgeable, and personable . Totally satisfied with the overall experience .

This insurance trip covered us while we were on our 12 day Alaska vacation. Part of our trip included a southbound cruise from Seward to Vancouver. While in Juneau, a middle aged man in his 40 or early 50s had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital. He and his family's vacation ended, sadly, but hopefully they had trip insurance like this policy to cover that expense, as it was going to be HUGE when you add up the cost of the trip, the cost of the medical assistance on board, the ambulance ride, the hospital bill, the hotel and associated expenses for his family, plus the trip home (wherever and whenever that might be). Yes, YOU need trip insurance like this policy.
