Fortunately, we had no claim on this policy but having it in place gave us a sense of security during our 6 week travel in Europe. The representative was very helpful in providing a policy that met our needs.

We are very satisfied with the way our claim was handled. My only complaint is that it was extremely slow. If a new document was requested, it would take 15 business days before action took place. It would be wonderful if you could check the status of your claim online as opposed to making phone calls. Our settlement was extremely fair. Hopefully we'll never have to file another claim!!!

Fortunately I did not need to use the insurance for this trip. However, I can comment that InsureMyTrip is very proactive in communicating with its clients both before and after the trip. The website is easy to use and they provide all information needed to make a good decision regarding which plan is best.

I’m thankful not to have needed this insurance during my two-week trip to Greece. But I was reassured, knowing the policy was purchased and ready, should I have a medical or other emergency. The reason I chose this particular policy was that pre-existing conditions, of which I have several, were covered. This was essential to me, and I was glad to know that if any of my conditions caused a problem, I’d be covered.

We always buy insurance when we travel that includes life flight insurance. This is our 5th time buying through Insuremytrip so I cannot speak for international Medical Group and I pray that I never have to write a review about using the coverage.

If you read most reviews, they are written by people who didn't file claims. After spraining both knees and ankles, this plan paid a total of $95 for crutches and nothing for small additional taxi and uber costs, since I couldn't walk. The rest of my medical was paid for by New Zealand. When I called their service number, I left a message and didn't get a call back. I finally called their emergency number and was told to go to an ER. They gave me an address, which turned out to be a doctor's office (not open at 5 a.m.). The exclusions in this policy/company are ridiculous: Charge the maximum, pay the very minimum at all costs. I would avoid them like the plague in the future and will share this information as broadly as possible.

We do want you and your fellow customers to be aware that InsureMyTrip offers a Customer Advocate Program. Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim.
