We did not use the plan. In the future we may use USAA as their prices are lower. Additionally, I also have coverage outside the U.S. due to VA disabilities.

I am thankful that I purchased this insurance policy as I regrettably had to cancel a planned trip to Israel in March due to a medical issue. The claim process was easy to accomplish online. It took a fair amount of time to receive my check, but it was complete and as I expected. Very happy with the results of my claim.

This plan offers a lengthy list of covered perils for Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption, which protects the investment you have made in the trip, and also provides reimbursement for incidents which could occur after departure, such as lost and/or delayed luggage, travel delay, and emergency hospitalization and medical transportation up to the policy limits.
Premiums for comprehensive policies are based largely on the length of the trip, the ages of the travelers, and the cost of the trip. A travel insurance policy is considered to be of good value when the policy premium is 4-10% of the insured trip cost.

I do not really know how good the plan is because I did not have to use it. When someone has to make a claim that is when you know how good an insurance plan is. It was good to know that, I had peace of mind, if I did have a problem that there was a plan available for help
