Thankfully didn't need to use it, but purchase, correspondence and paperwork were all well done. Gave us a sense of security knowing we had good coverage at a reasonable price.

We were already abroad when one of us tested + on a Covid home test. We emailed IMG with a question regarding proof needed if we were not allowed to board our cruise. We didn’t hear back from them until we were headed home 16 days later. What we got was a generic email. Terrible customer service. Would never use them again.

I bought this plan for a trip to Italy and Greece. In Athens, we had a power failure in the late afternoon with no power all night. The hotel had no available rooms and they weren't sure if they could get power restored.
By the next day, power had not been restored and so I called IMG. I told them what happened and asked if it would be covered by my policy. I was told that, yes, it was covered under trip interruption.
I booked another hotel at a higher price and filed a claim. I uploaded all supporting documentations. My claim was denied.
While it is possible that this was not a covered event, I wish they hadn't told them it was covered, which was probably a factor in what I paid for the new hotel.
Read the terms and conditions carefully, and I don't suppose that you should believe what they tell you, verbally.

The plan covered all of my medical, airfare and covered part of our cruise. Other items, such as hotel, taxis and food, were not covered so that will be my out of pocket costs. Overall, satisfied but would have liked to have seen 100% of my costs covered. Will need to read the fine print of plans in the future to see exactly what is covered.

The trip was a cruise to Greenland. Due to weather conditions we didn't make any of the ports in Greenland and they didn't cover any of the missed ports

Great travel insurance coverage but glad I did not need to file a claim. Travel insurance is great for your peace of mind and there when you need it and there when you don't need it!
