I was very pleased with the plan and would recommend it to others. A suggestion I might make is to tell customers when they take out the plan to be sure and save their flight and cruise plan since it is asked for if a claim is filed. I was not prepared for that request and although everything worked out well, it might have been easier if had not thrown out those things. It's a good feeling to know that you have insurance in case you need it. On the other hand, we tried to make a claim several years ago and it was not accepted, so I have mixed feelings. But, yes, I would get this plan again for another trip.

Without the need to file a claim it is not possible to rate the company or the coverage since claim response is the only reason to buy insurance.

Fortunately, I have never had to file a claim with your coverages, but one woman on our sail had a stroke and had NO insurance, and I am sure the actions required to get her treatment and home were more difficult as she had no insurance, so I always think insurance is required for sailing trips and those that take me far from home.

We purchased the insurance within a few days of our deposit, so we were eligible for the cancel for any reason coverage. About 2 months before our trip, I broke my leg and was unable to travel. We were promptly reimbursed for our full airfare and the non-refunded portion of our cruise cost.

The plan met all my requirements. My main concern was to have coverage for an emergency medical evacuation and this plan had that at a reasonable cost.
