We did not need to use the coverage, but another traveler on our cruise was hit by a bicycler and had to be transported home for surgery. So it was comforting to know we had such good coverage, realizing how possible it was to suddenly need it!

Never having used a travel insurance company before, I was surprised at how different the companies are, as well as how expensive coverage can be.
