The GeoBlue Voyager Essential is a single-trip medical plan which offers emergency medical coverage while you are traveling abroad. This plan does not require you to have primary health insurance in place. Medical coverage on this plan includes an exclusion for pre-existing conditions, but there is still coverage for emergency medical evacuation whether it is due to a known condition or not. With this plan, you have the ability to select the medical limit, and also the deductible amount that you are most comfortable with.

I didn't have to use the coverage, but it sure was great to know that I WAS covered, had I needed it. And the price was SUPER reasonable--way cheaper than I expected!!
