Bought this plan since I was on a skiing trip to Colorado. Did not have to file a claim, but I wish I had this plan on a similar trip a few years ago when I did get hurt and had to pay out of pocket (my primary health insurance had $5000.00 deductible).

Hard to say it was truly a good plan, when, fortunately, I did not need to file a claim. You never know if something is really good until you have to use it.

I bought the plan as a precaution - thankfully did not have to use. This plan was purchased because it offered the best price for what I was looking for. However, the true test comes when there is a claim.

As of right now, I would recommend TruTravel. The real test would be if I unfortunately had to file a claim. Otherwise, the policy and its price were very appropriate and reasonable.
