Flights were changed by the airline 2 months prior to trip and the times did not work for us so we cancelled our trip. Nationwide would not cover our claim for a cancelled trip (was only requesting the deposit). We booked another trip for the same week as the cancelled trip and after denying our claim they would not allow us to transfer the insurance we paid for to the rescheduled trip. So we were out the money from the original trip and we had to purchase a new insurance plan for the rescheduled trip. I contacted InsuremyTrip to see if they could do anything to help and they said I had to go through Nationwide. I contacted Nationwide and they said I had to go through InsuremyTrip. I would never use Nationwide or InsuremyTrip again.

Trip Insurance through Nationwide was easy to book and less expensive than through the travel agent. Very pleased that I had what I needed for a reasonable price! Highly recommend👍

Another cruise in the books with full peace of mind that we had our travel insurance, just in case! Thank goodness we did not need it. But, I read a story where a passenger had a heart attack and was stuck in a Dominican Republic hospital with no funds to return to the States because they did not get insurance.

Wow! It is a time-consuming, complicated and convoluted process to fill a simple claim. LOTS of hoops to jump through.

I never needed to file a claim. However, I did have to change my travel dates. This insurance was very accommodating.
