Thank you for your feedback on the policy. Nationwide travel insurance plans do not offer a rental car collision damage waiver when traveling to Ireland. The reason for this may stem from restrictions imposed by rental car companies in Ireland. Some countries restrict third party and/or foreign Collision Damage Waiver. Some rental car companies restrict third party and/or foreign Collision Damage Waiver. In general, travelers should always check with the rental car company to see if they accept third party auto insurance.Jun 23,2015

Our trip to Ireland was delayed one day coming back from Ireland in Newark,NJ, because of storms in Ohio. We stay in a motel in Newark on night,July 11,2013. We received a check on Aug 26,2013 from TruTravel Super Saver plan for trip delay.Real good customer service.

Did not need to use the insurance so can't say as to whether the company pays out claims quickly or not. The agents that I talked with were extremely helpful in helping me to find the coverage I wanted. Yes, I will definitely use this company again the next time I travel.

Trips cost a lot of money these days, airline tickets are the worse so why not purchase the added protection and peace of mind of trip insurance? For pennies on the dollar you guard your deposits etc. Since I have not filed a claim I can't speak to the expediency of this process however I can appreciate the ease with which I purchased my policy that left me with a few Euro to spend when I arrived in Ireland! Thank you!
