The coverage under the plan was adequate for my needs. This is the third time I have purchased the plan for a trip. I have never needed to file a claim.
My problem was that the price had risen considerably since I last purchased the TruTravel Super Saver plan. From January 2013 to July 2013, the price for the exact same coverage has inexplicably tripled. I will look for a different insurance for my next trip.

My golf clubs were delayed almost 3 full days on the return trip. I did not realize that they were covered for only the outward leg. I would have wanted it for both ways and would have paid extra for it.

Most policies say baggage delays only covered outward bound. They figure you can live with your own stuff once you get home. Makes sense.Jul 31,2013

My last 2 trip insurance policies from InsureMyTrip.com have been with TruTravel Super Saver. This trip I did not have any claims but my trip several years ago my claim was for over $7000. The claim was handled efficiently and there were no issues getting a refund for the trip. I am highly satisfied with both InsureMyTrip and TruTravel.

I wish I had known that I needed to immediately get actual arrival time and new flight data from the airline for my flight delay claim. I waited until my trip was over and had difficulty in getting this information from the carrier. TruTravel was extremely helpful and promptly paid the claim when I finally got the information they needed.
