I almost cancelled due to "civil unrest." This would not have been covered. I changed my mind and went, but not because of this clause. Otherwise, the plan was fine.

HI, I DID NOT TAKE THIS TRIP. MY FRIEND AND I WERE NOT COMFORTABLE TAKING IT SO I HAVE USED MY INSURANCE ON A TRIP IN JULY. I HAVE CONTACTED TRAVELEX REGARDING THIS AND THE REPRESENTATIVE TRANSFERRED MY INSURANCE WITH NO EFFORT ON MY PART. I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH TRAVELEX.

The transportation pak(rental car coverage) addition is a great value...in some foreign countries, the daily fee for zero deductible can be as high as $30. A Note of Caution: If you do have a claim, you will likely have to pay the charges prior to submitting for reimbursement.
