Gold plan used to have a "cancel for any reason," rider that could be purchased. Not available any longer with the Gold. Wish they would bring that back.

With an aging father this plan gave me peace of mind during my trip. Wanted to make sure we were covered in case we had to race back home for unforeseen events. Also wanted to make sure we were covered for medical expenses in country should there be a need. Fortunately we didn't have any problems, but peace of mind is certainly worth it on an expensive trip.
