Just like the AXA Assistance USA Gold plan, the Platinum plan provides additional Travel Delay benefits along with coverage if your golf or ski trip is disrupted due to Inclement Weather. Another added benefit is coverage for Sports Equipment Rental coverage.

Great coverage options for the price. Easy purchasing options and I did call to ask a few questions and the reps are very helpful. I did not have to put in a claim, but I felt comfortable with the coverage if something went wrong on my trip, having that extra layer of security.

I spent hours and hours on the phone with customer service trying to get a straight answer about possibly filing a claim. I was told I'd be called back; I wasn't. I asked to speak to a supervisor; he/she wasn't available. I was so frustrated that I called the site who I purchased the plan through and ended up in tears on the phone (and she, by the way, was VERY helpful). So incredibly frustrated by the whole experience. We won't be using AXA ever again.

I am very grateful that we did not have to file any claims against this plan. I felt it was very expensive. I was extremely pleased with the assistance I received in selecting and purchasing it from my agent at insuremytrip.com.

The best insurance is the one you don't have to use. But I know this policy also protected my use of frequent flyer miles. Good deal!!
