The AXA Assistance USA Platinum plan offers the highest limits of coverage out of all three AXA Assistance plans. Just like the AXA Assistance USA Gold plan, the Platinum plan provides additional Travel Delay benefits along with coverage if your golf or ski trip is disrupted due to Inclement Weather. Another added benefit is coverage for Sports Equipment Rental coverage.

Although AXA Assistance USA originally denied my claim, an InsureMyTrip Customer Care representative suggested I file an appeal, which I did, and they approved all of my claim. The plan was good, the Customer Care representative was great.

Purchasing travel insurance is a confusing proposition for a senior who does not travel often. The customer service representatives were helpful in our phone conversations, and the online enrollment procedure was easy.
