Out of 14 on tour, one was left behind with COVID and 2 others with an intestinal virus. Was happy to be insured in case it happened to me. Their costs to catch up with tour were high. Hoping they, too, had insurance.

Fortunately, all went well, and we had no need for a claim.
It was, however, very comforting to know we were covered.
We almost missed our departing flight due to unusual traffic delays and only by very skillful driving, did we avoid an auto accident when a car illegally crossed in front of us.
Alegent Air had only limited flights, but made them all on time.

Trip Insurance through Nationwide was easy to book and less expensive than through the travel agent. Very pleased that I had what I needed for a reasonable price! Highly recommend👍

Fortunately I did not have to file a claim so I don’t know how easy that would have been. The filing and paying of a claim is where you get a better sense of the value. The selection and purchase of the coverage was simple and the communication was great. I would definitely recommend.

I had a trip planned for December 2021/January 2022 and it had to be cancelled because I broke my ankle and had to have major surgery on the day I was due to depart for the trip. So, after filing a claim for a true accident, it took SEVEN months to get reimbursement from Nationwide. BEWARE of a great bureaucracy that takes forever to pay a fair claim!
