The Advantage Complete plan offers the highest limits of coverage of the four MH Ross plans, and offers a broad range of covered reasons for Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. Under Trip Cancellation there is Hurricane warning coverage, which is beneficial if you will be traveling during hurricane season and you have to cancel your trip within 24 hours of the scheduled departure date due to your destination being under a hurricane warning issued by the NOAA National Hurricane Center. This coverage allows you more flexibility as you can cancel your trip if your destination is under a hurricane warning, and you don't feel comfortable traveling (this coverage goes into effect 15 days after your plan effective date).
As well as offering Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption, this plan also offers Cancel For Any Reason which allows you to cancel your trip up to two days prior to the scheduled departure date for something other than a covered reason. Reimbursement under Cancel For Any Reason is up to 75% of your pre-paid non-refundable trip cost. This coverage is time sensitive and must be purchased within 15 days of your initial trip payment (see full details for all eligibility requirements).
On top of these coverages to protect your monetary investment, this plan also offers coverage for Baggage, Travel Delay, Medical, Emergency Medical Evacuation, and Accidental Death & Dismemberment. Optional extended personal property coverage is available as well as optional sports coverage.

This M.H. Ross plan seemed to provide the most coverage for our trip vs. other companies' plans, which is why we purchased it. When I was comparing plans I not only talked to the reps at InsureMyTrip.com, but I also called M.H. Ross. I have to say that the rep there didn't seem to be that familiar with the elements of the plan(s) I was inquiring about and weren't that interested in being helpful, it felt. Thankfully, we did not have a claim, so I cannot comment on what it'd be like to actually use it. I do wish that one of these days some travel insurance company would include pets getting sick or passing away as one of the covered reasons for cancelling a trip. Pets are family members, too, and if they have a crisis one might have to cancel or postpone a trip just as if a human family member had a crisis. As it stands now, the only way to get even partial coverage to protect against pet crises is to purchase the "cancel for any reason" option. I surely hope that either M.H. Ross or some other company starts including pets in the list of legitimate reasons someone might have to cancel their trip.Anne C.
