When in the midst of trying to prepare evacuation from a Cat. 4 hurricane, I was told I did not have Trip Interruption coverage. Trip Interruption was clearly stated on my policy, but the gentlemen in Customer Service told me he would have to get with a manager to verify. I'm sorry, I can't wait for verification, I have to book my flight. I did wait for clarification, which never came and in the mean time all the flights were booked up. Ridiculous. I did FINALLY talk to a nice gentleman who told me to do what I needed to do and then make a claim, but who knows if they would have paid it.

I found purchasing this plan was easy and having it was a great peace of mind. I had concerns that my trip may need to be cancelled because my daughter injured her leg and was not sure if she would be up for it. Plus my mother is in poor health.
