Cost of plan was good. We only opted for medical but in the future will expand for full trip coverage. Fortunately we did not need to execute the plan and use the coverage. Customer service was very good and explained all the options.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector Plus
I had a claim for $50 for damage to the luggage. The insurer asked for the same items multiple times.I will most likely not use this insurer again.

Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Requesting a Customer Advocate is as simple as calling 800-487-4722 or emailing customercare@insuremytrip.com, explaining the events which resulted in a claim, and the challenges you are facing.

    I filed a claim 22 days ago and have heard nothing, AND on top of that, it was a "cancel for any reason" claim!
    They will never get my business again.

      John Hancock claims department issued Evan's check on April 14, 2017, so he should shortly be receiving payment. Please keep in mind that John Hancock asks claimants to allow up to 30 days after they receive the paperwork for them to review and settle the claim.

International Medical Group Patriot International
Had a data entry glitch (that was my fault) that required direct customer service with Patriot's
staff. They were helpful and prompt in making corrections. It's stressful enough sending one's
daughter abroad and I appreciated their "can do" attitude.

I compared with other plans- this seemed reasonable in terms of what I wanted- evacuation protection and limited upfront medical payments if needed.
