I missed my connecting flight due to a trip delay from another flight in. I ended up having to stay in another city for two nights and then buy another one way ticket to my final destination. At first when I spoke with the representive at this company they had said it shouldn't be a problem resolving this claim. I sent in all the necessary paperwork on the eligible claim and was eventually reimbursed on the entire loss after having to make many phone calls and jump through multiple hoops with AXA. It's a good plan, but be prepared to not get reimbursed for your entire claim unless you jump through multiple hoops and spend several hours calling on the phone with them.

HTH Worldwide Trip Protector Preferred
Fortunately, we did not have to seek covered services during our trip, though both my husband and I did each take a fall! However, it gave me great peace of mind to know that we could go directly to a provider that was in the network in the places we visited, rather than having to go through a claims process. For that reason, I will insure my future trips with HTH Worldwide.

Generali Global Assistance Standard
I submitted a claim for dental coverage for a dental problem which arose late on my cruise. Although no dentist was available to me, my claim was denied because dental treatment was not obtained during the voyage. In my opinion, the insurer rigidly adhered to the written policy without consideration of the claim circumstances. No compromise was made. I expect that inflexible and uncompromising approach typifies their claims review process so I cannot recommend this travel insurance company.

While the Medical and Dental coverage included in the plan you purchased can typically provide coverage for medical treatments received within one year from the time you become unexpectedly sick or injured during your trip, the plan can only provide coverage for emergency dental treatments that are incurred during your trip. C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector
I called to file a missed connection claim. I got this insurance for my son Ryan. His Brisbane to LA Flight was delayed. Consequently, he missed his JFK to JAX flight which was a separate booking.
The CF Travel Insurance agent I talked to told me the Missed Connection coverage is only for cruises. The explanation of benefits just says Missed Connection $500 . Who would think this ONLY applies on CRUISES? They should add in parenthesis Cruises only. This is just pure corporate fine print scheme. I've always used Insuremytrip for all my travel insurance. I'm so sorry I selected C&F.

    C&F Travel Insured states under the Worldwide Trip Protector plan: "If You miss Your cruise or tour departure because Your arrival at Your Trip destination is delayed for 3 or more hours..."

We had the unfortunate need to actually use our IMG service while traveling in Australia. My husband had to be admitted to the hospital for a severe reaction to a jellyfish sting. The customer service representatives were available to answer our questions both times we called (even though it was a weekend and we were in Australian time zone) and were very helpful and friendly. We were so happy to have purchased such a high-quality plan! I should note that while we did use the benefits of the plan, the hospital took care of the claim filing. We have not heard any problems with the claim filing so it seems to have all gone smoothly. You will not regret purchasing this plan, although I hope you won't have to use it!
