I'm a little disappointed that the flight accident coverage does NOT apply while flying within the US. It doesn't make sense that the flight coverage applies only over the ocean and internationally. After all, one has to take-off from somewhere on land to get to the ocean!

The value of the IMT Travel Accident Plan is that it offers 24 Hr. Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD and D) limits up to 1 million USD for travel outside your Home Country. 24 Hr. AD and D plans provide continuous 24/7 coverage including flights "the moment Plan Participant exits their Home Country airspace".Oct 03,2018
