I needed cancel for any reason insurance so I picked this one. It was pricey, as that insurance would be, but it required me to accept much higher medical evacuation coverage than I needed. I would have liked cancel for any reason with lower medical evac coverage. But still, I’m very glad I had the peace of mind that I would be substantially reimbursed if something unexpected arose.

After realizing that a passenger on our cruise had a medical emergency and had to have emergency surgery at one of the ports, having Nationwide Mutual Insurance gave me peace of mind knowing this can happen at any time. I know that medical evacuation is expensive and would not want to be stuck with that bill. The cost out weighs the risk.

Due to an unexpected medical diagnosis and procedure a few weeks before our trip, we had to cancel our cruise vacation. In the many years we've travelled and purchased insurance, this was the first time we ever had to file a claim. We had to file the claim which entailed providing documentation from the doctor as to medical condition, cruise purchase receipt, and proof of cruise cancellation. We were reimbursed in full from Nationwide within 3 weeks from the time we filed the claim. I'm grateful that we purchased the cruise insurance from Nationwide and hope to in the future be healthy to again take the cruise - and would again purchase insurance from Nationwide.

I had an accident, a fall in which I broke my wrist in 2 places. Once we contacted C&F they called me constantly to check on me. I had to leave our trip early and they arranged for transportation to and from the airport and on a day's notice booked us new airfare from Europe to the US. We did not pay for any of this. I highly recommend C&F.

We have used insuremytrip.com for purchasing trip insurance for years. Fortunately, we have never had to file a claim until now. We had our car broken in to. Our daughter's passport, drivers license, and other travel items were stolen the night before our international trip. There was no time or means to get a replacement passport and only one flight per week to our destination. This was why we bought trip insurance.
WorldTrips had a clever out to avoid paying our claim. Anything that is not in the list of covered items or circumstances was not covered.
I will not be using WorldTrips again.
