Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
Having no claim makes rating the coverage and service from General mute. But having coverage does give assurance of protecting the family from unlikely but possible expensive medical expenses.

My only complaint is that when I tried to file a claim for delayed trip, I was put on hold for over an hour. I finally received a call back the day after and now my policy is expired. My flight got cancelled and when it was rescheduled I had to go to a different airport..that being said I had to take my rental car to the original airport and get an uber to drive us to LAX from Long Beach Airport. I believe I should have been reimbursed for the uber expense since it was due to the cancelled flight and change of airports by Southwest Airlines.

Due to coronavirus airline cancelled our tickets to Italy, so we lost excursions and train tickets. Called the insurance company, explained the situation, girl was very snotty and rude, no help whatsoever!!!

I was disappointed to find out I was only being reimbursed $300.00 per day. The cost of hotel and meals was over $1,600.00 for the three (3) days our cruise returned early.

We didn't go on our trip because our hosts asked us not to come, (because of the Covid-19 virus). We applied for a refund from EVA Air one month before the flight, but they kept $200.00 from each ticket for a total of $600.00. It doesn't seem that this insurance will compensate us for the additional loss.
