Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
We are completely dissatisfied with the insurance policy purchased from IMG. Our trip did not happen and they denied our claim, even though the coverage included the reason for the cancellation. We have filed an appeal and IMG has been completely non-responsive (other than their auto replies). At this time, we feel we have no option other than proceeding with a complaint to the state insurance department regarding fraud as well as contacting an attorney. We would not recommend using IMG.

Insurance can best be evaluated if you have to use it. Otherwise it difficult to rate. However generally it provided the coverage we thought we needed at a reasonable price.

We had filed a claim for a flight out of Washington to Norway which was delayed. The process was very detailed with a lot of uploading paper work to show that we purchased another connecting flight in order to make our cruise time. Nationwide did make good on the claim for $200. (which was in the policy for the delay). With that being said the policy was good to have if something major was to take place.

The US State Department issued a Level 4 travel advisory a few weeks before our trip so we were unable to travel as planned. It took a while to gather all of our receipts and documents and to figure out how to file the online claim for non-refundable costs. However, C&F Travel Insured called just a few weeks later to let us know the claim had been approved, and they direct deposited payment right after we provided bank account information. Very satisfied with the plan and overall experience.
