TravelSafe Classic Plus
We filed a claim in October 2017, for a November 2017 cruise that we cancelled. There were several hurricanes that increased their response time, which is understandable, but We had "cancel for any reason" insurance and we didn't receive our insurance reimbursement until April 2018. It took 6 months to go through the claim process. They would say they needed additional information and then two weeks later they would ask for new information that they could have asked for in the previous contact - it seemed like they were trying to delay resolution of our claim. They took so long that they threatened they were going to close our claim request because we provided an "invalid" cruise reservation number - it turns out it wasn't invalid at all, it was archived by the cruise line since it was so many months after the actual cruise date. They did pay the amount we expected, but taking 6 months to pay us is way too long.

    Thank you for leaving a review regarding the length of your claim settlement. The amount of time you waited to reach settlement was too long. We are sorry for the inconvenience and the frustration it caused. We are taking important steps to make sure claims are settled promptly, including increasing the number of adjusters we have available. Don't really know how well program works since luckily I did not need to use it. Felt safe and inner tranquility knowing I was protected should anything arise to cause a trip interruption or cancellation.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector Lite
I am a world traveler for over 30 years and this was my first experience with your company. I found your customer service representatives to be very unprofessional and I feel your company is unethical in its practices. Purchasing trip insurance from your company was a total waste of time and money. I filed a claim and was treated like a second class citizen for doing so.

It is very difficult to comment on service since I did not claim and therefore had no interaction with the staff. The coverage seemed reasonable but whether the personell would have been just as accomodating remains to be seen.

    Comprehensive plan premiums are calculated based on your age, trip cost and length of trip. Since your previous Travelex Basic plan was based on a total trip cost of 2226 USD, you would have seen a considerable increase in premium for this trip since it has a total trip cost of 6184 USD.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector
The plans clearly state coverage and how to process if you are in need of service. Fortunately, we didn't have any problems, but the security of having the protection was well worth our investments.
