This was our second planned trip to Italy. Unfortunately we had to cancel the first trip due to unexpected medical issues. Thankfully we had trip insurance from AIG. All of our money was returned to us promptly. We were able to plan another trip and naturally we chose insurance from AIG again. No problems this time but we were able to relax and enjoy knowing we had good coverage for an emergency.

Although we did not need this plan, it gave us the security that if needed coverage was there.
One of the other travelers on our tour tripped in the Hotel and fractured her hip, so this could happen to anyone of us.

Have received WAY TOO MANY emails from AIG telling me to log in check a message besides the actual message from the claims adjuster who already emailed to tell me a check was on its way. Don't waste my time! Will consider another insurance company for our next trip.

It is always good to have the insurance coverage when traveling. I plan on doing more traveling abroad in the near future and will use tour company again. Acquiring the insurance on your web site was very user friendly and I will definitely recommend it to others.

Choosing a level of coverage was easy, and although it was expensive (nearly 10% of the cost of my trip), it gave me great peace of mind to know that if work demanded I cancel my vacation, I wouldn't be out of pocket. A co-worker suffered a health setback just days before I left, so I was able to offer my supervisor alternatives that wouldn't leave me holding the bag with non-refundable hotel and airfare.
Also, reminder email a few days before the trip made it easy to look up the details of my insurance. Other online trip insurance have not been so user friendly.

Impossible to rate your service as thankfully we did not need to file a claim. I will share that having the insurance going abroad gave us peace of mind that in the event of an emergency, we were covered.
