We, thankfully, did not need to use our insurance this year, but it certainly provided peace of mind. A woman we know staying at the same resort got sick and needed to be flown back on a medical flight. She didn’t purchase insurance. The cost of the flight was $27,000.

When I was in Bangkok I was told that I would be reimbursed for the expense of all the material you wanted faxed to you. In the final settlement, the cost of faxing was rejected. I do not think this is fair to me.

Thank you for your comment on your claim. We did confirm with AIG Travel Guard that they do not reimburse for the cost of faxing claims documents.Feb 12,2016-

Well, this worked just like you always hope insurance will work. We were covered, and that gave us a sense of security as we traveled, but thankfully we did not have to use any of the benefits. We had read the policy and had the ID cards with us just in case, and are very happy we had no claim experience to report on.

I am glad to have choices on my coverage. Thank goodness I didn't have any health issues. We will use you again, as I have used you on my trip to Israel 3 years ago. I like the option to locate lost luggage.
