Bought it to protect against losing trip if my elderly mother passed away. Didn't have to use it, thankfully. I appreciate the emails sent right before the trip to give me links to all of the info. Very helpful as I was packing and didn't have time to chase down all the info. myself.

Thank you for reaching out to us. In order to cancel a policy, we require the insured to send us an email requesting the cancellation. According to our records, we did not receive an email (nor a phone call) requesting cancellation of your policy. Additionally, if you were to have cancelled 3 days after the conclusion of our 14-day free-look window, a refund for your trip cost would only have been given for a covered reason as outlined by your description of coverage, assuming you cancelled the entirety of your trip and not just the insurance. Purchased the plan for 5 family members. One week before trip one person became ill and looked like she would not be able to travel. Contacted Insurance company and they immediately supplied required forms for claim. Fortunately relative recovered and was able to make trip. Good service at reasonable cost.
