Thankfully I didn't need to use the coverage of the plan, but I felt both the terms and cost of the plan were excellent. insuremytrip is a great tool to ensure you get appropriate coverage for good value. I find that all insurance companies charge an enormous rate for people over 70 ,and we are more cautious then younger people. It is really unfair to us.

Travel insurance providers use a few pieces of information to calculate the cost of a Comprehensive policy: age of the travelers, number of travelers, length of travel and trip cost. In general, a Comprehensive policy will cost approximately 4%-8% of the total pre-paid, nonrefundable trip cost insured.
