Awesome plan. Awesome guides. Activities were wonderful. Wanted a little more history and explanation from tea ceremony. In country travel was easy. Country was welcoming and the food was Divine!!!

I'm home from a very successful trip. . . beautiful scenery, shore excursions with history lessons, good travel mates, excellent New England lobstah, and on-time flights without lost luggage. Best of all, no need to file an insurance claim with Roam Rite Essential, but knowing I had the coverage gave this 71-year-young traveler the peace of mind I sought while away from home.

Our policy seemed expensive at the time of purchase, but having the peace of mind that we were covered was more important than the price. I am happy that we didn't need to use the insurance. Traveling without it is foolish, in my opinion.

Due to a mechanical problem with the airplane I was on, my arrival at my final destination was 12 hours late. So, I lost an entire day of my vacation. But, I was told by Insure My Trip that my coverage would not compensate me anything for that lost day because I had no lost luggage, delayed luggage, or hotel loss. Just an entire lost vacation day which should have had some compensation value but did not. An important lacking with this coverage.

As so many others have written, a plan is a peace of mind. Fortunately, I did not need it this trip but will certainly return to InsureMyTrip to purchase another plan before my next trip.

I would like to see them price cancel for any reason a little more reasonable especially if you get that coverage immediately when you book a cruise .

With health issues, we felt it was best to get insurance as most of our trip (car, hotels, air) was prepaid. Thankfully, nothing went wrong so we will never know if it was a good plan, but it sure gave us peace of mind.

Although it may appear to be expensive, CFAR does reimburse you with a check while most cruise lines provide you only with a voucher for a future trip.
