I was able to make complete plans and travel with confidence, knowing that if a family emergency were to arise, I would not lose all the money I had paid out for my trip. It also comforted me to know I was covered in case of a health problem while abroad. Fortunately, we did not have to call on Roam Right, as the trip went smoothly and we had no medical issues. No lost luggage, no missed connections, no canceled flights, no bankrupt vendors -- so I was able to return home a happy traveler.

The price was reasonable. It took about six weeks to receive the refund check. I called several times to check on the status. The people I dealt with were pleasant. The waiting time seemed a bit long, but I was satisfied with the outcome.

I bought the plan months before I took the trip so don't remember too much about the details. Fortunately, I did not have to use it. But one day prior to my trip I thought I might have to cancel because of an eye problem. I contacted the company and the representative emailed me forms to fill out in the event that I needed to cancel.
